Men should listen to women more often. Seriously. Why do women generally live longer than men? Do you think it's because men "work" while more women stay at home? Do you honestly think a day spent playing solitaire at the office computer while writing meaningless documentation, answering emails, and other idle office work is more stressful than raising children, keeping a home, running never ending errands, feeding a family... No, it's not.
Women live longer because they take better care of themselves, pure and simple. Married men, regardless of whether their home life is particularly happy or not, live longer. They sleep better, are more active, eat FAR better foods... and all that is great, but the women will still generally outlive us. It was about 10 years ago that I discovered the joy of getting a massage, something I always considered too 'feminine'. As I begin to dip into my 30's I began looking at other things women do... better soap so you have better skin, then a loufa, then moisturizer, and today, I had a pedicure. That experience was incredible.. I don't care who you are. My feet and legs have never felt better and my toenails look incredibly, unrealistically good. My friends can make all of the fun they want... I could care less. What can I learn next? Ladies?

Sometimes things just strike you as very funny... I'm an administrator of a couple of Yahoo Groups. I'm not a huge fan of Yahoo in general (I much prefer Google) but they do have a few very worthwhile services. At any rate, my main email these days in through my GMail account so when I got an email from Yahoo to preview a new upcoming change to Yahoo Groups I couldn't help but laugh at the standard "reply to" section at the bottom of GMail...
Invite Yahoo to Gmail... as if. ;)
